Ignorance or negligence of the fish farmer or mistake is an obstacle to profitable fish farming. Fish is an important element in our daily diet. Due to the high demand for fish, it is possible to earn good income from fish farming. In addition to the local bazaar, it is possible to make a profit by selling fish in distant markets. Moreover, it is possible to earn a lot of foreign exchange by exporting fish abroad. Bangladesh is now fourth in fish farming. It is our pride.
